My personal life is in-between (hopefully), so my professional life should be good to compensate, because i have more free time. But it isn't. I hardly have time for the kids, but the new rules from the ministry demand more. What to do? Which to choose? Concentrate on formation would be better for me, but the teaching would suffer. And, in the end, i teach for the kids, not for the ministry. The hell with those burocrats!!!!! Though, it's frustrating to know that, after doing all my best, my classification will be bad, the worst in my 33 years career. If i was a bad teacher, as many others i see, but attended formation, even doing badly on it, a good mark would be certain at the end of the academic year. But that is not for me. Unfortunately??? I don't know, i'm proud of what i am. For being a teacher is the life i chose many times, when cross-roads happened in my life and i could have chosen other profession. I am proud that, at the end of the year, i accomplished the goal i had set for me at the beginning: to leave my kids with the knowledge they will need for their future, more independent and more adults. And, doing that, i know that some of them will remember me for a long time, as one of the important persons in their life. As they will remain in my memory. What is even more frustrating, is that i consciously know that i don't need formation at this moment, for i am always searching for new approaches on teaching, and i have been learning more math than burocrats can imagine for the last 20 years. Oh, how dumb they are, and how unfair is this entire situation... I am so tired!!! It's so difficult to concentrate with all this on my mind!!! And all my work, all i have to do, needs concentration. Today is raining, it's an ugly day, just like the way i feel. Which is good, this way i can't go for a walk. I don't feel like going, anyway. I am so tired i can't even rest, or restore my strength for the days to come. And I don't feel like going anywhere, because anywhere is nowhere. May 2009
